Check-out Policies: InterLibrary Loan

ILL Policies

Through interlibrary loan (ILL), we will try to obtain books, book chapters, articles, dissertations, and audiovisual materials.

eBooks

Due to copyright rules and license terms, we cannot get full ebooks through ILL. If you request an ebook, we will email you asking whether you would like a print copy of the entire book or whether we should try to get 1-2 specific chapters as PDFs.

Dissertations

If there is a dissertation that we can't borrow through ILL, we will try to send you contact information for the author and/or their institution so that you can reach out to them directly.

Blocked Accounts

If you have items checked out through ILL that are overdue, you may be blocked from requesting any more until you return the overdue items.

Lost Items

If you lose an ILL item, please let us know so that we can contact the library that lent it to us. If an item is lost or not returned, you will be billed for the replacement cost, plus any processing fees charged by the lending library.
