DREAM Week is Edgewood College’s annual commemoration of the life and work of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year Dream Week will be observed February 4-8.
There many ways you can get involved with DREAM Week on campus.
On Monday, February 4 at 4pm, DREAM Week: UNITY begins with an opening ceremony. The ceremony will take place in the Anderson Auditorium and feature a keynote address by Dr. Phyllis Esposito, Director of the Center for Multicultural Education at Edgewood College. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
Other campus events include:
- A viewing and discussion of the film “BlacKkKlansman” on Feb. 6 at 4pm in the Anderson Auditorium
- A Black Professionals panel discussion presented by the Black Student Union on Feb. 7 at 4:30pm in Nona McGreal
- The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Awards Banquet, recognizing students of color and student organizations at Edgewood College, on Feb. 8 at 5pm in the Washburn Heritage Room
- A book display featuring titles that influenced Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on the first floor of the library

Did you you know... the library has three group study rooms available for students?
Students can reserve a group study room up to a week in advance. The rooms are also available for walk-in use. Just check in at the front desk.
