We are pleased to announce two new electronic resources available to the Edgewood College community:
Libby: Ebooks and Audiobooks
In the past we've had many requests for ebooks and audiobooks, especially for leisure reading. We now have a subscription to Libby, which gives you access to ebooks in popular fiction, nonfiction, bestsellers, as well as electronic audiobooks. Libby also includes non-fiction ebooks in career, technical, and academic subjects.
If you're already familiar with using the Libby app through a public library, our subscription works the same way. You can even have your Edgewood College account and your public library account on the same device (giving you access to more titles).
To provide more convenient access to current news, we now have a campus subscription to the New York Times website. First time users will have to create a New York Times account by connecting through our website.
You will find links to the New York Times (and instructions for creating an account) in the library's A-Z Databases page, and a few of our research guides including the News & Current Events guide.
Note: Our subscription includes news only. No additional add-ons.
