Just before the holiday break, we had the pleasure of hosting 75 A.P. English students from Madison East High School.

While here, the students attended an instructional a session on the BEAM method of using sources in their papers, a session with the Writing Center on rhetorical hierarchy of concerns, and had time to work on their research papers while getting individual help from librarians, writing center staff, and their teachers.  Before leaving, the students also had a chance to hear what Edgewood College might have to offer them from college admissions staff.

Library staff was most impressed with high school students' dedication in wanting to excel with their assigned papers.  Thanks for visiting, East High School students!
