Books for understanding contemporary Japan
January 27, 2010
Late in 2009, our library was selected as a recipient of the Nippon Foundation's "Books for understanding contemporary Japan" program. We received a generous donation of the following books from the foundation which were added to our collection.
Some of the interesting topics covered in these titles are Japanese culture, business, fiction, history, and the country's relationship with the rest of the world. These books will certainly enhance the college's commitment to promoting global perspectives and understanding of cultures beyond one's own. We are most grateful for the Nippon Foundation's gift.
