American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld
The author of "Prep" now turns to the world of the White House life of a Republican president's wife. This controversial book has some critics claiming its setting and characters are too similar to Laura Bush.
The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff
Two prominent story lines emerge from this intriguing tale. One fictionalizes the real-life Ann Eliza Young, who was the 19th wife of Brigham Young and a woman who fought to abolish polygamy. The second plot revolves around a modern day Jordan Scott, who was expelled from a fundamentalist Morman cult and must now re-enter that world to solve his father's murder.
I'm With Stupid by Elaine Szewczyk
