Living with AIDS exhibit
January 22, 2007
The library is currently hosting an exhibit entitled Focus On Living: Portraits of Americans with HIV and AIDS. The exhibit showcases sixteen Americans with HIV and AIDS with photographs and text. These individuals come from a variety of geographic, economic, racial and ethnic backgrounds and the exhibit speaks candidly about their lives, relationships and how they have come to terms with the presence of this chronic and potentially deadly disease. Further information on the display is available at www.focusonliving.org.
Books that compliment the exhibit are on display and available for checkout. Librarian Andrea Kenny has also prepared a bibliography of Resources on AIDS (PDF 46k), which are available in the library's collection.
This exhibit is sponsored by Campus Health, Educational Programming Board and Campus Activities Board/Office of Student Activities.
