Status "Check Shelf" means that the item is not checked out and should be on the shelf. Items that are checked out will show the date due.

The Library of Congress call number system starts with letters
A-LS are at the left of the top of the stairs; LT-Z are at the right side of the 2nd floor.

Go to the shelves for the letters and look for the whole number, QH and 300's in this case, and then the decimal letter and numbers, .L54 for this book.

If the item is checked out use the Request button in the catalog to have it held for you as soon as it comes in. Reference books are on the first floor to the right as you face the stairs. Status "Library Use Only" means these items do not circulate.

Current Topics books are on low shelves near the copiers and circulate for 1 week
Relax & Read, music CD's and Popular Videos are on the first floor to the left of the stairs and all may be checked out.
