The Chronicle of Higher Education
The Chronicle of Higher Education is available to any Edgewood faculty, student or staff member.
You can access The Chronicle from through the above link. It is also available on several other pages including the Faculty Resources and Education Resources pages.
From Off Campus
If you are off-campus, you will be asked to verify your name and Edgewood ID. See connecting from off-campus for details.
Email Newsletters
The Chronicle has recently opened up access to their free email newsletters to ANY Edgewood user. These include the popular "Academe Today," "The Wired Campus," and others. To subscribe to the email newsletters, go to this link: https://chronicle.com/services/.
To sign up, you first need to create a free account. Unfortunately, because of restrictions on The Chronicle website, you must be on-campus in order to create your free account. In addition, links to the full articles that are sent in the emails will not work if you are off-campus. However, you can view those articles from off-campus by accessing The Chronicle through the library website, as described above.
RSS Feeds
The Chronicle also has several RSS feeds available. For more information on The Chronicle's RSS feeds, see this page: http://chronicle.com/help/rss.htm
As with the email newsletters, links in the RSS feeds from The Chronicle will not work if you are off-campus. But you can view those articles from off-campus by accessing The Chronicle through the library website, as described above.
