Edgewood College Copyright Policy

Print Course Packs

The college bookstore will handle obtaining copyright clearance and put together printed course packs for Edgewood faculty. You will need to fill out a Request Form for each selected reading and submit with a photocopy of the original. See Stephanie Pope in the Book Store or call ext. 2213 for information.

Reserve Readings

It is always acceptable to put books, videos or other original material on reserve in the library for students to use there. The library also provides access to electronic reserves through a pass worded e-reserve system that can also be linked to a class BlackBoard web site.

Journal and periodical articles:

Use links to full text articles in library databases whenever possible.

Photocopies should be made from the original publication and be legible. Include a complete citation on the first page:

No part of any anthology may be placed on reserve. Librarians will be happy to help you find the original source to scan or link to.
