RefWorks is transitioning to a new version. At this time, two versions are available:

What is RefWorks?

An online bibliography and citation manager, RefWorks is available free to all Edgewood College students, faculty and staff.

RefWorks allows you to:

  • Import citations as you search article databases, and library catalogs.
  • Organize and manage your references.
  • Access your citations/references from any computer via the web.
  • Automatically generate a formatted bibliography in many output styles.
  • Insert references into MS-Word (using the RefWorks add-on).
  • Share references with others.
  • Easily access the e-version of your cited articles through Full Text Finder.

How to use New RefWorks

Microsoft Word Add-On

The links on this page also include information about Write-N-Cite, an add-on for Microsoft Word that helps you create in-text citations in a paper, as well as the bibliography.

From Off-Campus

New RefWorks - Use your Edgewood email to create an account in New RefWorks.  A verification link will be emailed to you, and you can complete the sign-up process.

Legacy RefWorks - To create a new account in Legacy RefWorks from off campus, you need to log-in using our group code. You can get the group code from the handout below, or contact a librarian at the Service Desk.
