We honor Rachel Carson for her ground-breaking work, reversing national policy and leading to the creation of the EPA, in spite of fierce and relentless opposition from the chemical industry.

After retiring from his career in professional basketball and 2 major corporations, Will Allen bought a couple of green houses near Milwaukee’s largest public housing project. His organization also works with the Center for Resilient Cities, 501 E. Badger Rd. in Madison.
