Book cover: Silent SpringApril 22nd is Earth Day, which supports environmental protection.  In addition to the library resources below, watch for Edgewood College Earth Week events posted on Wingra Weekly, or EC Today.

 

We honor Rachel Carson for her ground-breaking work, reversing national policy and leading to the creation of the EPA, in spite of fierce and relentless opposition from the chemical industry.
